ATTENTION ALL TFL PLAYERS:
We have established a new-look competitive floorball program focused on skill development and preparation for tournament-play, including the upcoming Canada Cup and we want YOU to get involved!
Join us every week for practice and take part in skill development drills, conditioning and organized scrimmages on a full-sized court. There is only so much you can learn in a game situation; this is your chance to be a bigger force for your team as TFL playoffs and the Canada Cup approach. The program is divided into two streams: One will be open to anyone interested in practicing and the other will be designed for elite players interested in trying out for Toronto’s top competitive team.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Here are a few of the basic details you need to know:
- All TFL Elite teams will be encouraged to enter into the Intermediate Division at Canada Cup
- All TFL Intermediate teams will be encouraged to enter into the Rec Division at Canada Cup
- One Rep team will be created of the best Toronto players; this team will be entered into the elite division at Canada Cup
- Players will need to tryout to make the Rep team; the team will receive free entry into Canada Cup, uniforms and discounts on sticks and merch
- Players that make the Rep team, will remain part of their TFL team and will also participate with them in the intermediate / recreational division.
- All players that want to play in the tournament, whose team isn’t able to enter, will be guaranteed a spot on another team through a draft or by combining of two or more teams, depending on the situation.
- Players unable to participate in the Canada Cup are still encourage to attend practices
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practices will take place almost every Saturday. We have secured a triple gym that is big enough to house a full-size court and should soon have our boards on-site every week.

PRACTICE LOCATION
Harold Brathwaite Secondary School
415 Great Lakes Drive, Brampton
ON L6R 2Z4.
It’s about 10 min north of the 401, just east off the 410.
PRACTICE COSTS
The cost of trying out for the Rep team will be $50 + you must be an Elite OFUF member. As a TFL player, you are already a regular OFUF member so it would cost you $15 for Elite membership. This will cover the first five(highlighted) sessions which will be tryouts. The cost of being a member of the Rep team, if selected, will be determined shortly.
